nichola feldman-kiss will perform her public sleeping performance in a custom vitrine located in the courtyard of the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art. the public sleeping performance is a part of feldman-kiss' new body of work entitled childish objects. This series muses on artistic actions and objects of the artist's formative years. By rarifying of the everyday gesture of sleeping, feldman-kiss explores the vulnerable space between pretending and being.
