Gretchen Burcelle was an important, yet under-recognized, female artist who lived and worked in the Queen Street West district. This mobile ritual celebration will trace meaningful locations and pay tribute to her life. Through her merging of art and life and her particular emphasis on ficto-biography, Miss Burcelle significantly contributed to the development of Canadian culture. This master of the poetics is remembered by her friends and family as a great artist and insomniac.
