A Glow in the Dark: a spotlight on a selection of OCAD's alumni
Group exhibition
From the early-20th-century days of the Group of Seven to current 21st century, OCAD graduates and faculty have been a force in Toronto's contemporary art scene. To mark its 130th anniversary during Nuit Blanche, OCAD shines the spotlight on a few of its luminaries. OCAD will be aglow with an all-night screening of films by Michael Snow, performance by Shannon Cochrane, and work by Ian Carr-Harris, Kristan Horton, Garry Neill Kennedy, John McEwen, David Rokeby, Joanne Tod, Nick and Sheila Pye, and George Whiteside. The Manifold Project, a montage of alumni work, will be projected throughout the evening.
Enjoy live visuals and music mixing in the Great Hall by Geoffrey Pugen. Enjoy a Nuit Blanche breakfast provided by the OCAD Student Union beginning at 5:30 am (some fee may apply).
